In 1998, at the age of 19, I co-founded a promotional company. After leaving this company and taking educations in Advertising and Art Direction, I started at Aorta Productions as a designer/Art Director. After a couple of years I switched to Ogilvy Amsterdam as an Art Director/Creative there. Seeking new challenges, I went on to become a Senior Art Director at XXS Amsterdam. One of the biggest small and creative agencies in the Netherlands. In 2008 I took the big step to go freelancing.

As a freelancer, I worked for various agencies in Amsterdam. Creating on- & offline communication, 360º campaigns and helping out to win large pitches. My skills cover both classic advertising as well as innovative digital work. From smart to big budgets, national as well as international campaigns.

Today, as the Creative Director at DutchDuo, I blend ‘the bigger idea’ into many types of medium or platforms to create effective communication. All for numerous clients in many kinds of industries. To me, there are no small or big campaigns, only the ones that can make a difference and have impact.
